Community Code of Conduct
Welcome to InnieHub, an online community for individuals navigating agoraphobia and related mental health challenges. To maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment, all members must adhere to the following guidelines. Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or a permanent ban at the discretion of the host.
1. Respect and Empathy Are Non-Negotiable
- Treat every member with kindness, dignity, and compassion.
- Avoid judgment, unsolicited advice, or invalidation of others' experiences.
- Listen actively and respond thoughtfully.
2. Zero Tolerance for Harassment or Mockery
Members cannot engage in bullying, ridicule, or mocking mental health conditions. This includes jokes, sarcasm, or dismissive comments about agoraphobia, anxiety, depression, or any other condition. The consequence is immediate removal.
3. Inappropriate Language Is Prohibited
Hate speech, slurs, sexually explicit remarks, threats, or aggressive language are strictly forbidden. These restrictions apply across posts, private messages, usernames, and profile descriptions.
4. Community Membership Is Purpose-Driven
Access is limited to affected individuals, verified allies, and caregivers. Users joining to troll, observe, or exploit the community face permanent removal.
5. Privacy and Safety First
Members must obtain explicit consent before sharing personal information and respect boundaries without pressuring disclosure or offline engagement.
6. No Promotion or Solicitation Without Approval
Advertising and external links require host approval, including mental health services and social media promotion.
7. Report Violations Promptly
Community members should report violations immediately to hosts or moderators, who will handle every report discreetly and seriously.
8. Host Authority
The host reserves the right to remove any user who violates these guidelines, with or without prior warning. Decisions are final and made in the interest of community safety and integrity.
